Blog 2 (Why did you choose this career/study programme?)

Hello! Today I want to tell you why I choose is career.

When I was a little girl I wanted to be many things. However I dreamed of being a teacher. I liked  to play the teacher with my cousins. As time went by, I realized that I didn't have the patience to be a teacher.

When I apply to university I did not have other options in mind. I was sure I wanted to be social worker. However before applying in social work, I was studying physiotherapy (kinesiology).  Over the course of the career I realized that this profession was not for me and I left.

Finally I decide to study social work because I like being able to help people and I think that in order to give more real solutions it is necessary to make changes that go beyond paleative solutions.

My experience in the university has been very pleasant, because I have met beautiful people, besides my classmates and teachers are very nice.

I would like work in prisons, or schools. Although they are very different are areas that I would like to address.
